Neuroma Excision
Neuroma excision is a surgical procedure performed to remove a painful nerve thickening, commonly known as a neuroma, usually found between the toes in the foot. This condition often develops due to nerve irritation, pressure, repetitive stress, or improper footwear, leading to symptoms such as burning pain, tingling, numbness, and discomfort while walking. When non-surgical treatments such as medication, orthotics, or footwear modifications do not provide relief, neuroma excision may be recommended. During the procedure, the affected nerve tissue is carefully removed to reduce pain and improve foot function. With proper recovery and rehabilitation, patients can experience significant relief from symptoms and return to normal daily activities more comfortably
